Once upon a time

we were lovers

and there was an us

but, now there are others

and me and u must

discontinue to speak

for, i am not the type to

disrespect the girl who

 snatched u rite from under my feet

and u wouldnt dare hate on

what you just gave up to another man so

shouldnt we just leave it alone

but, before we do

let’s have one last rememberance

all those dreamy eyed moments

spent in heaven with eachother

as if the only thing moving were

the universe

i stopped time cuz i thought my love

would last for a life time

but the “i thoughts” are all just lies

and false notions that we put our weak trust in

just to have something to believe in

but i think back to

those “hold me times”

when all i needed was your arms

and its funny how they were always there

there to keep me safe

and love me wholely

keeping me close to your heart

as if i were some precious treasure

remember that…

all those tears we’ve spent

on us

our relationship

the past we’ve buried with an ocean of salty tears of regret

but

some melody in my head keeps playing ova and ova again

and i thinks its telling me

its not over yet
