Graduation!

Eyes glisten with joy, for this is the day that they all have waited for.The day that their little girl would be become a woman, The day that that would seperate all the maybe’s from the sure’s. This was The Day. Her Day. Mouths gape wide with anticipation and loose the pride that had been held captive for so long. Standing ovations dominate the scene and wave throughout the audience, Time stands still, hearts race, silence fills the room, “Shannon Cooper,” the speakers spit out her name as if they have been waiting years to do so. The girl dances across the stage and looks back once more at the world that had so long sheltered her, It had ended all to soon, she was now a Woman.
